Scott A. BorthwickScott A. Borthwick, a founding partner in the firm, practices criminal defense law throughout the state of California. Past cases have included a variety of legal categories, and have resulted in favorable jury trials or dropped charges in many instances. Each case is handled with proven skill and experience, with the goal of achieving a fair and just resolution for every client.
He has been an invited guest lecturer at the USC School of Law in Los Angeles, as well as the Western State College of Law in Fullerton.
Mr. Borthwick was formerly a successful Deputy Public Defense Attorney for Stanislaus County in Modesto, California, and has worked for United States District Court Judge Vaughn R. Walker in San Francisco. He graduated with honors from UC San Diego receiving a BA degree in Philosophy, and was later awarded his Law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. While attending Hastings, he taught the Street Law course for students in the San Francisco School District through the USF Law School Public Education Crime Prevention Program.
Scott Borthwick is a member of the California State Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.
